Photoessay #2409 - Feather Falls

Time to feature one of those old snapshots laying around.  The back of this picture is 1979, I think it might be 1978.  This looks like nice weather and I moved to Seattle in April 1979.

Dennis and I took a hike with Sue and Dan Beittel up to Feather Falls during the time we lived in Chico.  I remember at age 27, it was darn hard for me to make it up the hill on the way back.  You went down down down and then up to the observation of the falls near Oroville.  Sue and Dan were in their early 50s and they both made it up the hill much eaiser than I did even then.

That was my dog Winnie, one of my series of mutts.  Probably my lowest personality dog.
