Photoessay #2488 - The bride

A picture of the bride.  The centerpiece of a traditional straight wedding.

And a beautiful one she is!  Jessica in her beautiful dress with its beads and small train.  I think she's wearing pearls that her mother and grandmother wore at their wedding.  She looks every bit the radiant bride.

But more important than that, I really like her and think she'll make a good partner for Danny.  She's participated in our family events for many years.

One advantage for using this hotel as a venue was that the large bridal suite was available all day for many of the bridesmaids, bride and mother of the bride to get ready.  Other bridesmaids used the room downstairs.  They had a hairdresser and a makeup artist up there.  Pretty high tension up there!  I was there some of the time.  But took no pictures.  As Charl says "What goes on in the bridal suite, stays in the bridal suite!"

Charl sent me some of his very very nice pictures.  I think there's too much contrast in the face but that's his style.  He says that he corrects to what he sees.  Interesting to place her off-center;  I like it.
