Dennis and I went out to breakfast with friends of long standing. We chatted and chatted (and not that much about our kids, but what we were indivudually interested in). We chatted for so long that the waitress came and asked us if we wanted to order lunch!
We've had Thanksgiving with these friends since Before Kids. Over 30 years and being with them always made it so fun. This year they've decided to do their own and I'm disappointed (I won't lie!). I hope that maybe we can resume in future years.
But we had a wonderful time at breakfast enjoying each other's company.
