I'm writing this after midnight....just got home from my job at the Husky game. My crazy part-time usher at UW athletic events mostly football. Washington beat Arizona 42-31 or something like that. Crazy game, I thought the first quarter lasted about 2 hours, it was so bad. Lots of reviews and penalties and crazy plays.
Plus a late start, people have way more time to drink. I had wobbly folks in my section but no incidents. The older gentleman I walked back to the parking lot with had all sorts of noisy loud profane people, it got so bad, he had to have six cops come and sort it out. Just about 60K people there.
So I took the first football picture I could steal. Desmond Trufant, I think he's a free safety, I think he covers receivers on the defense. There's one man, one of my regulars, comes with his two young sons and every time the other team catches the ball he yells loudly "You suck Trufant!!!" Anyway, he wasn't there.....
