A few weeks ago, shortly before Naomi went off to Ellensburg, she and I took Teddy to the dog beach at Edmonds. Pretty nice day for autumn here in the Puget Sound. Hardly any people there.
This is one of the last pictures I shot. Turned around just as we were about to leave. I really liked the silhouettes of the two dogs joyously chasing across the sand. And the person by themselves on the bench. Overlooking the Sound with the Kitsap peninsula and the clouds beyond. If it was clearer, you could see the Olympics
Seems like many beach experiences around here are like that. It's usually kinda cold and lonely.
Almost made a scheduling blunder, caught it just in time. I hadn't written my Inner Circle meetings on my calendar and had my financial meeting (which is needed for sure) at the same time. Easier to move the financial people back a day. That darn stock market, I think it's messing up my mind. I KNOW it's messing up my mind.
Tonight is my last class of Memoir 2.0 class. It's gone by fast, I think I've survived the high table and the stools but barely. Enjoyed my partnership with another student writing our risk pieces. She wrote about being fat, I wrote about discovering that I was a person of color.
