Today my friend Lee and I got together. Warm almost muggy day, so unusual for a September day in Seattle. Lee's thinking of getting a dog and she's fond of Teddy. So we went out today instead of sitting somewhere drinking coffee (which is also fun). We went to Magnuson Dog Park where we both threw the ball endlessly for Teddy who never ever gets tired of it. You walk quite a long way down a dirt road with fences until you get to a section of beach on Lake Washington which is set aside for dogs. At times, there were lots of dogs. We also saw the fellow (I think he's a dog walker) who swims with his dogs. Everybody in, everybody out.
We threw the ball into the water lots of times and Teddy fetches it and drops it at our feet. He works very hard and is completely dedicated to his task. He came that way. He fetches. That's who he is and what he does.
Lee got the hang of the thrower and here is about to launch the ball into the lake for Teddy to chase. Teddy's ready, waiting for that release.
Fun, we'll do it again!
