I haven't been there that much but the Lake Forest Park Farmer's Market is going strong. I have to go down and buy the Blue Cottage jam. The is my favorite time of year because of all of the peppers and yellow squash. I can also buy peaches by the half box. I'm keeping away from the ice cream, pastries and popcorn. I did have a delicious vegetable quesadilla there last week.
Lots of people and good weather for once. The rest of the country swelters and we here in Seattle are glad that summer finally showed up last week. Still very few hours where the temperature actually hit 80 degrees.
Wonder if I have the patience to try to make chili rellenos, they have those chilis I like the ones that are dark green and shiny?? Poblanos, I think.
