Photoessay #1488 - Ilana and Matt

My daughter Ilana and her boyfriend Matt. Matt's been staying with us during the week since he started his internship with an aerospace company in the middle of June. He uses an older scooter for transportation and our house was much nearer to his work. He will be a senior at UW this year in mechanical engineering. He's been no trouble at all, in fact, a lot of help.

Ilana worked at a graduate digital archiving internship in Florida from April-July coming back to Seattle at the end of July. They will both go back to Ann Arbor at the end of August with Matt returning towards the end of September to start back at the University of Washington.

Ilana has an informal unpaid internship for the month of Sno-Isle Libraries and is generally on the go.

It's been fun having them both here.

Today Dennis and I will pick up Melina and go to the Wing Luke Museum and maybe a little letterboxing. We'll come back here and she can water my flower pots and play with Teddy. More about that later.
