Photoessay #1194 - Olympic Mountains

So clear and sunny the last few days. You can see some mountains in many directions. The last few days, I've been stunned by the view of the Olympics from 220th SW exit at the top of the Mountlake Terrace. Today, I made a special trip there with an idea of where I might get a shot. On the way to the dog park.

I'm standing on 220th SW just east of the freeway entrance looking down 220th. You can practiacally see Premera where Dennis works. We both really appreciate how short his commute is (less than 4 miles). That's gold (monetary and emotional) these days. Wish I could have eliminated the traffic light.

Your looking at the Olympic mountains on the Olympic Peninsula across Puget Sound. Even a developed area like this still retains a lot of evergreen trees.

Including a picture from Charlie that he must have taken this morning from his neighborhood in the greater Chicago area. Talked to Ilana, she said they just got 6 inches in Ann Arbor, pretty well plowed, she went to class today
