Namo has been here for 3 weeks; she returns to Pullman tomorrow. Winter weather abounds but looks clear over the pass. Starbaby, her cat, empress of the known universe and VERY haughty would not give her the time of day the whole visit. Wouldn't let herself be picked up, didn't hang out in Naomi's room, no, no, no.
As I predicted, Starbaby would come around just before Naomi's return. And here they are yesterday. Starbaby finally decides that Naomi belongs to her and now hangs out on her lap. Just to have Naomi leave tomorrow and start the whole cycle over again.
Naomi's return to school should formally end the holiday season.
Yup, it comes around every year....
