Photoessay #1127 - Then and Now

Our house when we bought it in 1987

and now 23 years later.

I featured the second shot...it's the before shot before the tree trimmers did their work.

23 years of further wear and tear. When the tree trimmers were done, the trees still formed a canopy over the driveway. Not so in 1987. The drive way? lot better shape. The big evergreen on the right? Looked ok then, But it really became ugly/dead and the tree trimmers took it out. You can see a red flowering plum on the before. That thing listed and listed and I had some other tree trimmers yank it out in 2006 just as (and I mean it was already blowing) the Chabnukah Eve storm hit.

At the time we bought the house, the cedar tree and the red maple right behind the sign were in proportion. Not so now. The cedar tree is HUGE! and the maple basically has died but Dennis like to keep it as a bird perch.

You can now see the fruit trees in the back over the roof.

The tree on the left is now huge and forms the canopy along with the cedar tree on the right.

Look how more organized it was!
