Photoessay #1088 - The Huskys enter

Part of the pageantry (as observed by me) involves the cheer squad and the band going to the 'Zone', east of the stadium, and forming two lines. The Husky coaches and football team enter the stadium through this corridor made by the band and cheerleaders. The team arrives in snazzy buses which have some feature which allows them to bounce back and forth on their chassis.

All shots taken by me from my vantage point from Section 50 on the South upper deck. I can see EVERYTHING from my section.

The coach (Coach Sark) comes in striding by himself not carrying anything followed by his assistant coaches and the football team, dressed in black and gray traveling suits. Much drumming, cheerleader flips and cheering. They proceed to the 'W' in the center of the field.

But before the coach, the very first, is the Husky Dog! I caught sight of the dog this time. There you see it!

I'm tying to cook up some plan to see Barack Obama at Hec Ed at the UW this Thursday and the luncheon with Michelle Obama in Bellevue on Monday. No takers yet. Couldn't talk Gin into it. It's historic!
