Photoessay #1082 - Wait, wait, yikes!
So today, in a few hours my memoir writing class at the UW starts. The next step on the "what do you want to do now that you have the time" path. So, I've had to wait, wait, wait. I've got most of the books, read some of them. It's a 3 quarter class offered by Continuing Education. But now today, I realize that there's a bunch of stuff added online I didn't know about so I've been hustling around since around noon when i discovered this. Yikes, there's a book I didn't even know about. Order it from Third Place Books, it will be in in a few days. I find it at the Bothell Library, go screaming over there after the dog park.
And these assignments, are they supposed to be done for tonight? Probably not but yikes! Yikes! Am I crazy, what would I write about? Am I out of my mind?
OMG, why didn't I check out where that parking garage really is? There's like 20 people in this class. Not the friendly 5 in my Guided Autobiography class. BTW, if you come by Third Place on Thursday afternoon and find 5 women of a certain age who don't really look like that they go together, gathered around a table reading things to each other and laughing, that would be our gatherings from this summers Guided Autobiography class. Last week our theme was 'Work'
Sandy wrote about 'back in the day' (1970s) computer work
Sarah wrote about public health nursing, especially integrity issues
April wrote about working at the Space Needle as a waitress
So now you have all my anticipation anxiety. This will be very new to me actually going to a class at the University. Probably with a lot of talented younger people. Yikes! Yikes!
Writing picture stolen from somewhere. It's ok, but that's definitely a man's hand
