Photoessay #1015 - Mountlake Terrace Gardens

I drive the three miles to the Mountlake Terrace Recreation center real often. Almost every day to the dog park (today Teddy had a rousing wrestling session with Leo a german shepherd 40 pounds bigger than he) and two evenings per week to the swim pool (for water aerobics). Modest neighborhood of postwar cinder brick houses built for returning veterans in the late 40s. But, lately I've noticed some colorful gardens that I blindly have been passing all summer. The first one might be a bit past it's prime but still so colorful.

Sometimes we blindly go along not noticing the wonder around us. Garden pictures posted without permission
