I'm likely purchasing my late mom's Buick from my siblings. 2005 Buick LeSabre, very low mileage 25K. When we had our session, JoEllyn started out "I understand that you want to buy the car and let me talk you out of it" but then when I outlined my reasons for taking it, she didn't try to talk me out of it.
Let me first emphasize that I am NOT in the business of obtaining cars for my adult children.
I'm thinking....Ilana is likely to be spending the next two years in Michigan and could use a good snow car (My cousin owned a car just like this and said it's GREAT in the snow). A lot better than the high mileage (160K+) Corolla. If not, Naomi could use it in Pullman (same snow). Naomi especially likes these sedans. She really liked our 1988 Chrysler LeBaron (another grandma car) until she crashed it one summer Sunday morning on her way back from camp. Susanna's car is also on it's last legs but she's not interested in the Buick
Not cheap really, will cost me to buy my siblings out. Plus it puts me in the weird car-moving business. Fill out one inquiry on the internet and you will receive dozens of email and calls of brokers wanting to handle the move. But apparently they all work from the same pool of drivers and bid for the business.
I suppose if we could own a LeBaron, we can own a LeSabre. Are those real words anyway?
