I’m leaving Rockford on my way back to Seattle. I was here three weeks ago for nearly a week. My mom’s doing a lot better. I feel she will be able to resume some sort of independent living. An apartment in the big house, maybe.
Some useful information:
1. Check out Alaska Flight 29 an evening flight to Seattle on a Saturday night. I took this flight three weeks ago and it was practically empty. I had a row to myself; that’ makes a tremendous difference. Tonight’s flight looks equally empty. Bad for Alaska Airlines, great for me
2. If you are considering carrying on antique sterling silverware…I checked with the TSA and they said that I would carry on forks and spoons but not knives.
I’m looking to transport service for 12 in the medium future
You may ask, why would anybody want, a sterling service for 12?
My mom was a bit weepy when I left but we had an interesting time going over my great grandfather’s will which somehow got mixed up with a bunch of photo albums.
It can be a full time job supporting somebody in a nursing facility. And this was comparatively easy duty given my mother’s resources and the services of Wesley Willows. I had a wonderful place to stay plus I had lunch and dinner with my mom every day. I did no direct care.
I would appreciate it being say, over 15 degrees F
I hope to illustrate this entry with a picture of Walter and his van taken when he picked me up to take me crosstown to the bus to O’hare.
