Naomi went off to WSU today. She and Dennis left around 6am. I worried that the heat would overcome them, supposed to be 98 degrees there today. All of the community moving in help happened yesterday. But I've heard from them and they have everything in the room, they used one of the big carts.
The first day is bewildering, you don't really know where to go or what to do. You don't know whether to sit in your room or hang with your dad or wander around. Naomi doesn't have a roommate which, in general, will work. I think they are trying to get Naomi's internet connection to work. It never works the first time. Though I had great success using the wired ethernet connection when I participated in the orientation last month.
So, there was a little tug when she went off. But Ilana's here for right now being the Queen of Pages.
Picture of Regents Hall lifted from WSU website. I guessed early 60s, dates from 1952. Same as me. An all woman's dorm which she preferred. One event she was considering was 'have dinner with your RA.
I'll check in with them later. I have a team meeting and swimming, Ilana volunteers to take Teddy to the dog park. She imagines young guy Teddy always chanting "Dog PARK, dog PARK, dog PARK" to anyone who might take him.
