Photoessay #811 - Packing to go

Naomi goes off to Washington State University tomorrow. She's been packing, check out what's in the living room. Not quite organized nor orderly but whatever. No sense interfering. It's all kind of jumbled together falling out of boxes. But, if they can get it into the car, what difference does it make, really?

Yes, that's me, I'm never one for order and I'm TERRIBLE with spatial organization. Serious, that's how I would have done it. Ah yes, I remember my coping skills doing this same thing. I would pack the boxes in a similar fashion knowing full well that my father would tear them apart and repack them muttering under his breath. I don't recall him being particularly angry, mostly resigned.

But really I couldn't do any better. It's just going to shoveled into the car and taken across the state to Pullman. Temperature tomorrow: 97F. Yikes. The goons to help people move into the residence halls are there today. Not tomorrow. Oh well. But I'm a bit worried about Dennis moving all that stuff in that heat.

Makes a big argument for leaving early so it's not SO hot when they get there.

Naomi pleased because she just now got her schedule straightened out for various freshman college sorts of reasons. She's looking to order her books.

View of the boxes in the living room with Teddy off to the side at his post checking out what's going on in the front yard. He would get on the couch if he could but it's covered with Teddy-Couch Discouragers. Plus the cardboard Edward from Twilight which did survive camp though apparently was used for quite a few hijinks. Unsure about whether Edward goes to Pullman.
