Photoessay #746 - Selling Knives
Naomi's friend, Jannelle, just graduated without immediate plans to attend college, has started a new job selling expensive knives. She had three days of sales training and we were her first call. Definitely a true-believer.
She looked like she was faithfully following the the outlined sales procedures along with several calls to her manager who seemed helpful and responsive. We bought three pieces from her. Can't believe that I spent $27 for a potato peeler....
Anyway, we listened to her spiel and bought some knives. She seemed determined that she could do this. Of course, household selling like this is very difficult. I would not have identified her as a candidate. But she's determined and confident.
Who knows, it could work for her. So if anybody needs Cutco Knives, she's your one. Just starting out.
