Photoessay #724 - Haunted minivan??

Could my 1998 minivan be haunted? Consider the evidence. Before we dragged it off to the garage yesterday, the lights blinked on and off, the door locks constantly locked and unlocked, the warning beeps beeped incessantly. All at the same time. It got worse, the more you drove or went around corners.

Blink! Chunk! Beep! Beep! Blink! Beep! Chunk chunk!

What's next? Mysterious warnings instantaneously coming from the radio? Low moans from under the dashboard? Whirring dials and clattering gears? Invasions of miniature sentient beings? Who knew! There could be a spirit inhabiting the 11 year old Caravan!! Maybe we could lend it out to a horror movie? Feature it on halloween? It could become a profit center....

Now we knew that pine needles jammed some of the drainage which featured ominous sloshing sounds until several cups of filthy freezing water dumped on the feet of your unsuspecting passenger. But that was just an attractive feature not a mystery. Handy for discouraging teenagers who weren't supposed to be there anyway............

I once had a washer that lost its mind. Poor baby, the governor that caused it to stop failed and that unfortunate thing kept washing all night. That soccer sweatshirt was never the same.

We live in ominous mysterious times.

Update: garage just called and said the culprit is a door switch. Didn't say a thing about goblins
