The other day my husband attended a meeting for his whole unit in his company. On their collective minds was a recent 'layoff' or 'reduction in force' or whatever it was where some people unexpectedly lost their jobs.
So they file into the meeting room and this flyer was sitting on each chair.
Gulp. Dead silence. Nobody, NOBODY wanted to know what THIS meant. My husband spilled his coffee on it; so jarring.
Turns out that it was just to demonstrate a local United Way project that was using the company's contributions.
Heavens, easy on the irony!
