Photoessay #526 - Dinner at Susanna's
Last weekend, Susanna hosted us for dinner in honor of Dennis' birthday at her apt. First time, I've gone to dinner at an adult child's home. Felt like a watershed moment. She did a nice job, spaghetti, salad, toast. I brought a pineapple upside down cake for dessert. It moved right along, dinner was on the table when we got there, she washed every dish as we went along. After we had the cake and the presents, she announced she had something else to do and out the door we went. Fine, efficient. You can see Dennis and Naomi on the right. Out of the picture are Danny and Jessica. Ilana couldn't come; she was working at the Business Library. We just couldn't find a time that everybody could come.
I felt that yesterday's blog was one of the weakest; I felt very down but I felt I needed to write something.
More phone calls. The higher I call in the academic world, the easier it is. Mainly because my company is so well known.
And more doctor visits and blood tests regarding my blood pressure. I guess I'm tired of alarming fire station personnel with my numbers.
