The 1993 picture is one of my mom's favorites. She was visiting and we were playing on the beach in Edmonds. Check out the jackets, we had to run these guys even on cold days. Who cares if it's freezing, you still have to go to the beach.
Probably at one point, she said, let's get the kids together for a picture and likely Susanna corralled everybody together to set up the picture. Physically and right now. Always invested in keeping the family members together. Always wants to assure herself that we're fine so she doesn't have to worry about us. When her grandfathers passed away during the collegiate softball season, we had to shoehorn the services into the softball season. Because she WAS coming.
Even this picture last September at Alki Beach. She grabs her sisters to make sure that everybody's in their place and we are ALL TOGETHER!
Whether you're 9 or 23, it's still the same
