Xmas family picture 2006, 2007, 2008
Dennis just produced this xmas picture of the family. I thought this is last year, but, no, this is two years ago.
We didn't mean to put the dog in the foreground like that. We were using a timed release probably on Dennis' camera sitting on a chair and at the last possible moment, the dog wandered into the picture sitting down right next to me. Absorbing the flash on the already overexposed picture. So Shadow takes up the foreground, mindless but sociable as usual.
Last year, she is also in the picture, in a more appropriate place but looking the wrong way. Still sitting next to me. She was my dog.
This year, no Shadow, extra person is Jessica, Danny's girlfriend. I'm taking the picture so am not in it.
Shadow really was my dog. When Dennis would come into the house, she would look at him warily but without too much interest. "Oh it's you" When I came home, it called for a celebration of dancing, jumping, woofing and probably peeing on the floor. "Mom's home! Mom's home! "She's here! Mom IS home". Gotta love that dog greeting.
I've enjoyed quite a bit of music on youtube recently. So many of the videos are regular folks who have set up the video camera on a chair and they are sitting on their bed or similar and belting out their cover tune with all their heart.
Hmmm...Dennis is wearing the same sweatshirt in all three pictures!
The important thing is everybody is here and healthy. Yes!
