Quite a few years ago, Ilana and I enjoyed going to the Bellevue Art Museum or other art exhibits. The deal was ... you couldn't look ahead to know what was exhibitiing, you had to hit it cold. The Bellevue Art Mueum (an eclectic building across from a huge shopping mall) featured all kinds of crazy things in their crazy building. On one of our best experiences, we went up to the third floow are just blown away by a huge display of enormous revolutionary puppets. The kind you would have in a huge parade or revolution or similar. Just knock your socks off. Wow! Big giant heads and symbolic followers. Can't find any pictures of them.
A perennial favorite, the full sized giant whale skeleton made from parts of lawn chairs in the lobby. A serious representation, no kidding. Saw it downstairs, there can't possibly be two, we already saw this at the Henry.
But today I'm thinking of finding out how to organize a union. You know, just for fun. Have some contacts at the Teamsters, called my friend there. Doesn't hurt to get to know how to protect your interests as a worker.
Just idle curiosity...NOT!
