Photoessay #474 - Thanksgiving 1 group

One of my devoted readers (not entirely uninvolved) requested that I post the group picture from the first Thanksgiving last Sunday. Only right to do so.

Dennis' immediate relatives joined us for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday. His two brothers, sister in law and niece joined his mom. Also Ilana's roommate Ariel. I think Ariel took the picture, pretty nice day, some sunshine.

At this time, I feel that this family is eager to spend time together. Many more events have been planned recently. More get togethers are scheduled every year at the family cabin on Harstene Island waterfront. We plan a trip to see the plays in Ashland next October. A fun time, plenty of food and conversation. Total of 13, this one we did with the two portable tables in an L shape.

Later in the evening, Ilana called "Mom, I went home without any leftovers!" I said "That's because there really weren't any". More leftovers from the second group which featured the power-cooking greater Gellermans augmented by former restaurant owner Uncle Jerry. Also I want to let Perry know that we are just about out of pumpkin pie and it's a shame.

The two Thanksgiving dinners are the height of my holiday season observance....
