Photoessay #452 - Housewarming

Today, Dennis and I (along with friend Lee) attended a housewarming on Fidalgo Island, actually outside of Anacortes...across Deception Pass from Whidbey Island. Friends from parent group had long been designing this beautiful home including a very attractive guest house. The back view gives a sense of the size of the large back deck though this shot does not reflect the beautiful design, colors and materials used throughout the home. Designed for two people, a beautiful living room, a room just for Mark's activities, a room just for Teru's activities, a master bedroom and the biggest walkin closet on the face of the earth. Warm colors and textures throughout. The more you look, the more beautiful details you see.

Imagine enjoying yourself on a warm September evening on that deck. The second picture captures the view from that deck including Pass Lake in the foreground and the Strait of Juan de Fuca beyond. From the map, I can see that your gaze is southwest and possibly on an exceptionally clear day, you could see Port Angeles.
