In more ways than one....
Last weekend, I participated in a delightful Mexican dinner that I purchased at the small auction at last year's gala. Wonderful food, good company. Here, the cooks (two board members and the executive director) take a box at the end of the dinner. I insisted on the picture. They had a good time doing it too from what I hear. Recipes from John O whose Mexican dinner I have attended before, he's a master. They did some wonderful things with chiles that I would never have imagined and I don't know what was in that fruit salsa that was so distinctive.
Now Bill in the foreground, in the orange shirt, he's on the board too and he was told that he had to work on the dinner but he got out of it because he was one of the guests. Tricky!
I'll bid on that dinner again!
