I featured this picture on my LFP blog yesterday and it still seems relevant today. I drove by this flowering bush on my way to an appt on Wednesday and thought "that is one GOOD bush, that is an extraordinary bush" For obvious fuchsia reasons. This bush occupied the corner of a parking lot for a doctor's clinic across from Stevens Hospital and it's DECKED OUT. On the way back, I parked in the parking lot for the express purpose of taking a picture of the flowering bush. Struck me that I now had the freedom to do such a thing but when I was running four kids around...nope.

What a beautiful bush..you cannot see a bush like that and not comment
Those blooms remind me of "April in South Carolina". Everything bloomed like that in such vivid extreme that the pollen was like a yellow dust everywhere.
