Yesterday, I went letterboxing, it's been several weeks since I felt I had time. I got out my letterboxing bag and Shadow, my very elderly large dog, got all excited when she saw it. She knows that this could mean 'bye bye in the car'. So sure, Shadow, you can come. Part of the clues involved this bridge. In the spirit of letterboxing, I won't mention the location of this bridge, but the clue-writer wrote assurances that it was sturdier than it looks. A challenge for my impaired mobility...and Shadow's. But, we got across that bridge, Shadow and I walked over it and walked back. Slowly, carefully. Shadow fell once on the way back, she went up on that little knoll and fell when she tried to get on the bridge. But not into the water.
Pretty day yesterday and even prettier today. Downright warm!

Looks like a wonderful trail and fun bridge. I am sure Shadow's tumble bothered you more than it bothered him.
"fall? trip? not me! it was another dog not me!"
