Photoessay #268 - Music at Third Place

I'm working on context for pictures. Sure you can have an image, but where does it fit into your story?

The place: Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park
The time: February 16, 2008, last night
The band: Hot Club Sandwich...acoustic, string gypsy jazz swing

Great band to dance with! Free music! Why don't I go down more often? It's an easy mile from my house.

I had never met this young man before, significantly developmentally disabled, turns out he's connected to several people I know. He's being cared for this week by his cousin (assisted by aunt and uncle) while his family is on a little vacation. Hot Club Sandwich is a great band, it's towards the end of their set, not too many people there. His uncle and cousin sit with him right in front of the stage practically in the band. He's enjoying it quite a bit, so much great stimulation. Rhythm, melody, vibrations, performance. If fact, that band is playing right to him part of the time.

Also, here is myself and Ilana rocking out. More blackmail fodder. I wondered why my upper back hurt so much when I got home
