Photoessay #248 - What? Snow?

C'mon, I left all of the snow in the midwest. In Lafayette, Indiana. In Rockford, Illinois. In Minneapolis. So happy to fly over Seattle and see no snow. Crazy to come home and try to get everything unpacked, start to work again, etc. So exhausting.

Now this! Woke up this morning and, as Dennis said, there's some serious snow out there. Some of it has dissipated but there's more to come, in fact, it's just started up again. Dennis and Naomi were here this weekend, Naomi and Jannelle did some serious baking for the Swing Dance. Came home and there's no milk, no bread, no eggs, no flour, sugar, etc etc. Everything's been eaten up. I intended to do some grocery shopping today. But all this snow. I fuss about it and Dennis decides to take the van out for a trip to the grocery store before he figures out how he's going to work. We go to the store and stock back up. We weren't exactly going to starve. He went off to work taking our only car that has both chains AND heat. But really, Naomi can miss dance and I don't have to go to my team meeting though it is a pretty important first team meeting.

Just went on a walk with Sue and Jake. It's rainy and 47. We are warmer than you today!
