My brother came to visit from his home in Chicago to my mother's home in Rockford bringing his two cats Bogart and Bacall. When he moved to Chicago, he wanted two kitties, preferably two cats that were used to living together. Friends. These two had been inside cats, abandoned when their owners moved, then ended up in an animal shelter. Just perfect for him. Their names came with them. Now they live with him at his house and visit 'Grandcat' occasionally for weekends. My mother loves to have them visit, they're comfortable in her home and a great diversion. I'm sure my father would never have allowed it. Earlier my siblings suggested that he might have been allergic. Mostly he would not have tolerated it because he couldn't keep track of them and he certainly could not have controlled them.
Cute picture of Bogart on top of the piano. Suppose I ought to include a Bacall picture too...yes, my brother provided one for this post.
Behind me are my brother and sister getting rid of my father's diskettes. They've come up with a high tech 21st century method of data destruction...to come in a later post.

I love the cat pictures, especially the first one, and I'm not a cat person. I enjoyed catching up on all your posts. Try to stay warm!
Bocall is a "Rag Doll" mix. Big, has less than a full deck but love-able male kitty.
Bacall is the smart female of the house. She is a mix and will tell you just what she thinks of any situation.
Very happy that Charlie found them and brought them home from the shelter. They love their "Dad" and always keep track of where he is at! They show off for Grandma all the time! Good sports to travel in their cages to "journey" there and back!
