Photoessay #153 - new camera

My new camera...bought it at Costco today. Once I get it figured out, I can feature pictures from this camera on my blog. Like my brother says, "my camera can do about 100 things, I know how to do 2". All these cool sounding settings that I can't figure out how to set. Dennis will be glad that I'm not taking his camera all the time. And this one is so much smaller.

Main challenge...how to get files small enough to email and to use for the blog. Doesn't make any sense to use huge files, especially when you have limited space online. Of course, I buy an 8 megapixel camera and then use it on a much much lower setting. Don't want to talk about it.

I think it will work out well once we get it figured out. New computer and new camera. Wow. Of course, what I really need is a new stove....

Naomi and Ilana got home fine from Mom'n me today and I saw Ilana's new apt. Fun!

I don't know the first thing about file size. I just take pictures. My camera does lots of things. The more I use it, the more the instructions make sense. I have a point and shoot. I'd really love to have a great SLR and know how to use Photoshop. I don't think my brain could get around it, however. I'd need to take a class. Congrats on your new camera and computer!
