Susanna too! Susanna's hardly ever here but she did come for 4-5 days last week. Her best friend from travel ball days, Amy, lives about an hour away and played ball for the University of Virginia. In high school, Amy would visit, stay overnight quite a lot. I think she saw Susanna's younger sisters as a bit as her own sisters. When Susanna came home from college, usually Amy would appear within 24 hours. We like Amy! Last winter, Amy was having some difficulties with her own folks and asked to spend the xmas holiday mainly here with us. A tough period, right after that nasty windstorm, we lost our power for six days(!). I had a house full of people in December and NO power. I would not recommend this. But we made it!
So during the visit, Amy visited with her new boyfriend. They stayed for dinner.
I like Amy's orange shirt juxtaposed with the greenery outside and the warm brown of the table.
