My speedy daughter running the bases at the Speed Competition semif-final at Canada Cup 2006. Each team in the prestigious women's tournament was invited to send a contestant in a timed run around the bases. Representatives from Australia, Team Canada, Chinese Taipei, one of the Japan teams and Venezuela were in this semi-final. She won the semi-final handily winning a big bag of t-shirts. The contest was not held this year. Team Canada coaches in the background. The second picture shows her handing out the t-shirts to team members, friends and family.
