I saw on Facebook, somebody advertising a Mexican Food Festival. At a church fairly nearby. Looks local, why don't we go? Dennis wasn't so sure but we went over there and all these booths were set up. You bought tickets at the entrance and used those. Each booth was run by a family. It was a fundraiser to send the church kids to camp. We must have bought one of everything. Everything was homemade and delicious.
On the way home, we kinda wondered what we would do with all of it. We spent $35 and we had a BUNCH of homemade food. Got the idea of what we often do. We called Suzie and Megan and we went there and between all of us, we ate up most all the food and played with Scouty. A good time! It's great to have your adult children live near you.
