Brunch excursion with Naomi

Our daughter, Naomi, arrived this morning with our weekly groceries.  She's been buying our groceries from a list for an entire year.  Remember March, last year?  We came back from a short Hawaiian trip on March 17 as things were closing down.  Naomi said she would do our grocery shopping.  And she's done it every week except for a few times when Susanna did it.  So no grocery shopping for me for an entire year.

We had decided that she would continue do the shopping until we were two weeks past our second vaccination.  And so we are, the second shot was two weeks ago on Friday.

I wanted to mark her commitment.  Offered to take her out to Brunch.  I was thinking of takeout because, well, it's safer.  But Naomi definitely wanted to go out somewhere, like to an actual place.  I dunno.   Susanna recommended a place Magnuson Brewery.  They said they had outside seating (sheltered as it was pretty steady raining).  And servers wore masks.  OK, we'll do it.

Turned out to be an interesting place, right on Lake Washington as part of the Sand Point complex.  There is some development in that old Naval Air Station.  But not much.  Not gentrified or fancy.  But this place was a surprise, Reasonable and well set up.  We sat at a covered semi-enclosed area just to the right of this photo.  More of a marina area with lots of boats.
