The mid-century Ginsburgh family - Rocket Scientist
My phone pictures are boring and lousy; you would think in these high tech days, we would have better access to quality photography. My digital camera I bought at Costco doesn't work very well either. When I was young, my father had a slide camera; kid could not touch it and it was VERY complicated. That's what he told us. It would take a very long time for him to get a picture right. Usually longer than the subjects could tolerate. Which is why we have a number of pictures of the subject exiting the frame.
Some years ago, I had many of the slides turned into digital images. I thought about those and, amazingly I actually found them. And Dennis read them in because, who has a CD reader on their computer any more?
So maybe we can see some examples in the next bit of time. Occasional series.
This one is from 1961, Disneyland, of course. Al (my father), the rocket scientist, in front of a rocket, well not a REAL rocket. Children weren't allowed to see those. He was 35 then, the ages of my kids. Think about THAT for awhile.
