Back from Santa Cruz for Crown 74 45th reunion. This group of 9 had dinner at JJ's house on Friday night. Six more joined us for the dinner up at UCSC on Saturday. We were clearly the largest organized group there. I think our graduating class at Crown College was about 100. No one can really remember.
I stayed at JJ's and we put on the dinner together. I had an idea coming in and she liked it. I said "Look we both have blood sugar issues, so why are we having pizza?" We declared our theme: Inflammation. Hee hee that's a theme for the over 65 set. So we had greens and bowls of vegetables and some shredded chicken. Blue berries and strawberries for dessert. No inflammatory food. I think everybody liked it!
Am I really that much taller than Gail next to me? I've lost 10 pounds and it shows (to me).
But a great time. I was just corresponding with my co-organizer Barry (most left in the back row) that waiting 5 years might be too long. We can declare it sooner if we want.
