Naomi had promised to work the Lake Forest Park Farmer's Market today. I went down to help her. It's less than a mile away and they humor me. Warm muggy day here in Seattle. Naomi can only fit one very large cooler in her car. I went down and made change and sometimes handed out the popsicles.
The shot above is a stock photo on Yelp. Probably Dave, Megan's dad.
Even before noon we were selling at a heavy clip. No down time. We had some problem with the clasp of the cooler. I even figured out how to take a picture on my phone and send it to Dennis. He came down and fixed it and brought a chair for me.
Some other friends came down but I could hardly talk to them because we were selling selling. Then we started running out of flavors. Lines get longer. We're running out more. Finally we have only 3 flavors. Then only one, who wants Kona Coffee? Me, me, me.
Then we were sold out, not a single popsicle left. Sold out! It's not even 2 pm; market runs for another hour.
People come by, "What? No popsicles???" A market person came by "Nicely done," he says.
No more popsicles, sold out, never happened to me before.
