Smoky Sky

This picture is taken from the Seattle Times and actually shows I-90 up near North Bend.  But it felt like this around town. The light was weird yellow and the sun  was orange..  Fine white ash was in the air and collecting on the car.  I think this smoke was from fires in the Ellensburg/Cle Elum area.  You just didn't want to be outside.  In fact, they wanted people to stay inside and not breathe the stuff.  I did go to an archives meeting at Beth Shalom and then up to the UW campus to return some books.

So much smoke this year!  I don't remember this happening before......
