Fun in the De Hirsch-Sinai library

I met with the librarian at De Hirsch-Sinai this afternoon and had a great time.  She was so helpful, the library was in the 'Temple Center' built in 1924 with a beautiful fireplace and woodwork.  I didn't take pictures of that as I'm not focusing on the Temple Center but the Old Sanctuary.  I did take a picture of this portrait of Rabbi Samuel Koch on the wall.  As always, one can never get the angle quite right.

But we looked at each other's pictures, met the rabbi, looked at the chapel again, made some copies, reviewed the transcript of a prior interview.  She offered the library as a place to interview.  It all worked great.
