Summer over?

Art from my fabulously talented second cousin Flash Rosenberg, a performance artist in NYC.  Also a face shot taken from her story-telling Moth performance.  An example of how you can make it as artist in Manhattan yet showing how difficult it can be.  Even if you're talented, accomplished and beautiful.

She drew this cartoon about the end of summer.  She works so hard that I wonder if she would have enough time to do all of these things.  She also values and puts a lot of attention on her family.  She even hosted a Cousin Extravaganza at her Manhattan apartment that Dennis and I attended.  She's been so good to Ilana when she's visited New York City.  Even took her with her to accept an award at the Lower East Side Film Festival.

Flash's talented art captures our own views of our world in ways that we may not be able to describe.  And always with a lot of humor.  Flash has always known how to be funny - genetic from her father!
