Teach your daughters ....

Every once in a while I see a facebook post which goes something like

I would teach my daughter:

Then a whole list of things, like 'follow her dream' or to 'never feel intimidated' or 'stick up for her rights' or 'appreciate beauty'

I look at those great ideas and think....I have three daughters and I'm pretty sure I never remembered to do any of that.

I think I was mostly concerned if it was a school day and, if it was, that they had their shoes and socks on.  Matching not required.

Everything else was gravy.
