Photoessay #2876 - Genealogy in a summer garden

Last night, our of us showed up for a periodic meetup of our 2011-2012 family history certificate program.  \Carole who's taking the picture, has a lovely home in the Queen Anne neighborhood.  Heidi, Jill, myself and Heather.  We missed Judy, Alan, Betsy and others.

It's Seattle in late June, notice the sun is not out and we're wearing sweaters and long pants because, that's the way it is.  There's maybe six weeks of summer and it hasn't come yet.  Though the temperature was over 70 degrees for Ilana's  wedding two weeks ago.

We had a lovely time, as usual, with lively discussion about ... genealogy and research.  Topics included 19th century Illinois insane asylums and, though we love using their resources, are the Mormons really kind of creepy for gathering all of this Information?

How about a weekend at their place on Orcas Island?  I'm in!

I love  belonging to these small community groups.
