Photoessay #2867 - Icelanndic Honeymoon

Ilana posted this picture on facebook.  The view from the bus (with wifi!) going from Reykavik to the countryside where they will rent a cabin near a lot of scenic destinations.  Looks glacial and a bit wild to me.  Not unlike the Puget Sound area except there's forest around here.  Even after all of the poor environmental decisions.  They will stay in the cabin 4 nights (?).  No wifi.  She said they had to decide between wifi and a hot tub and they went with the hot tub.

Not a bad choice really.

The wedding went off fine.  Except the sound situation.  Most of the guests could not hear.  When I was seated and the officiant started talking, I knew it was a problem. But I couldn't do anything about it.  And my smashed glasses.  There were jokes about what a wild hair and makeup session that must have been.  Susanna did a terrific job putting back these completely destroyed frames with a lot of electrical tape.  The eye doctor was very impressed.  But I found some old glasses that work well enough and I'm not that blind.  I ordered some new glasses yesterday.

She's taking a married name so I will have to get used to that.  Now I have a son in law and a daughter in law.  Not a bad thing at all.
