Photoessay #2932 - Writing about Morris

So Pete F, a new contact I have about the history of the Jews of Schmeiheim wrote me:

Would you like to write/or contribute a piece on Morris' life/ family history for the Jewishgen KehilaLinks Schmieheim page?  We try to honor the lives of the people in these towns.
You can see the page here

The idea is to give space within Jewishgen for people to write about the communities where their ancestors came from.

It also has dawned on me that I need a writing piece for my writer's group for this Sunday.  No time like the present to get started before the whole wedding thing comes cascading down.

Here's a picture I have of Morris (nee Maier) Baumann probably taken at the turn of the century.  Irwin, the oldest in the center (my grandfather), he could be 9 years old.  His younger sister Gertrude on the right and Robert on the left.

Get a load of Clara's hat, whoooeeee, those WERE the days!  Gertrude has a pretty fancy hat also.

Nothing like a commission to get you going.  Have I mentioned that my revenue from my writing has yet to become a multi-hundred dollar business?
