The Skagit valley is always beautiful, just up the I5 corridor. I even hear that they have a temporary fix for the bridge over the Skagit river then collapsed about a month ago. About 50 miles north of us.
I took this shot from the car when we went up to Mount Vernon about a week ago to see Mark's movie. I believe you're looking at Mt. Baker partially obscured by clouds.
Looking east from I5, not sure where probably not much north from Everett.
And another shot from our sunbathing pair. Teddy's giving Starbaby a little grooming, clean out the ear. They do that. They're both disappointed; they went out to try a little sunning but it's 55 and drizzly, no dry spots on the back deck to be had.
It's our 37th wedding anniversary; we like to go to one of local restaurants on the Sound, they have a special early bird deal. However, we've got some other things going, as will be happening throughout the summer. When you have a bunch of kids and still have a good sized house, you can expect a lot of activity. Naomi's home working and doing online classes. Megan's here and tonight, her dad who's on his way to Hawaii to start a business venture.
