Part of our trip in April (e a daughter-Indiana-Alabama run) will be a visit to the Gulf Coast, probably a stay at a beach resort area in Fort Morgan which is around the spit in Mobile Bay.Or similar. I'm completely unfamiliar with this area. Susanna has some days off from school and really intended somehow to spend a few days at the beach. Timing in April worked out much better than March for Dennis.
We've done these super tourist runs during the past few years. I guess they replace the softball tournament runs.
Two years ago we did Hampton Virginia/Oak Ridge Tennessee/Ann Arbor Michigan
Last year we did Ann Arbor/St. Augustine Florida
So this year will be Lafayette Indiana/Birmingham Alabama/Mobile Alabama
And they say we never have any fun. Why people would kill for these itineraries.
The beach looks nice. I'm hoping for a 2 bedroom condo and we'll have Susanna, Megan and their puppy Hammy. More fun! Picture taken from a website for beach rentals
